Modular Additions |
|
Modular construction is
the most efficient and
effective way to build
an addition to your
existing home. You get
the quality and price
advantage that modular
construction is known
for along with faster
build time. A modular
addition can be
completed in as little
as 7 to 10 days. This is
particularly beneficial
and less disruptive for
your family when
building home additions,
especially if you remain
in your home while the
work is being done.
A modular addition is
delivered completely
insulated, sheet-rocked,
spackled, taped, and
primed. The electrical
and plumbing is complete
and ready to be
connected to your
existing house. The
windows are installed
and trimmed. The units
even come with your
choice of floor
coverings and in some
cases can even come with
the window treatments
already installed.
Generally speaking,
there are two kinds of
modular home additions.
The most common is
attached to the side of
a home to create either
a separate living unit,
such as an in-law
apartment, or additional
rooms, such as a new
kitchen, dining room,
great room or bedroom.
Another modular addition
is set on top of a
one-story home to make
it into a two-story.

Tear Downs |
|
If you are looking to
purchase, demolish, and
build a new home, call
or contact Weydert
Homes, today.
Houses have been
demolished and replaced
for as long as they have
been built. The teardown
process is not new but
without the expertise of
an experienced tear down
contractor it can be
very difficult. Brian
Weydert has been there,
done that, and did it
well on tear down
projects throughout
northern Illinois. Put
that experience to work
for you.
